Cotswolds for Tomek by DIXIEDEAN Cotswolds for Tomek by DIXIEDEAN
This was a commission for my Polish friend's mum, who lives in Poland and wanted to take back some English countryside.
Somebody said to me they thought the Road was too clean and maybe it needed a McDonalds wrapper!
(Pastel on ingres A3)

The cleanliness of the road strikes, thats for sure ;-). Lovely. It is indeed very English view. I absolutely love your English villages. I am Polish, too.

PS. I love the cat there!!! :-)

Gorgeous!!!  That's how the UK looked when I lived there - but McDonalds wasn't invented then lol

This awesome work is featured in my latest News Article and my journal [link] .

Sorry for the delay, DA stopped me, pretending I was spamming!

It is reminding me so much the beautiful countryside in England (including the cat), I love it!

Dean this is lovely work...It looks so real; the brickwork is amazing! I think about what might be around that bend in the road, thank you for that...the houses are beautiful, true to color, and the lovely foilage around the street...and NO it doesn't need a McDonald's wrapper...lol :)

You're work is just stunning but I really can't understand why you hide yourself away depriving so many art lovers the chance to feast on your beautiful gallery.:iconconfusedplz:

I am just amazed by how much detail you manage to get into your works. I've had a play with pastels but have so far found it impossible to get fine detail.

I am so in awe of your talents and stunned by the lack of attention it gets, I would very much like to do a feature on my journal to showcase some of your pieces if that's OK with you?

Excellent work. Suggest you add the size of the piece to your description in case anyone wants to get in touch with you to purchase your work. The thumbnail does look like a photo, a testament to your great work.

Thank you for your kind words, Difficult to sell artwork, no places to exhibit locally,my spare room is filling up! I do put A3 or A4 after discription but maybe I should stick to feet & inches! thanks again. Dean
